Learn at your own pace with individually tailored programs. You can fit learning around other commitments and choose a pricing plan to suit you.
Online or in-person lessons
You can choose between face to face lessons in Christchurch, NZ, or take your lessons online – usually utilising Zoom technology.

My story
Music has always been a big part of my life, but that passion was nearly destroyed when I studied music by rote through the academic system. I began a long musical journey of discovery to find that rather than just a rigid academic structure, the theory and history learned combined with practical and relevant context actually came to life with full expression.
From that foundation, I have enjoyed a full professional career as a performance-musician, composer, and tutor, teaching beginner through to advanced post-graduate students.
My approach meets you where you are at then identifies the gaps, assists you to remove the roadblocks, and builds from that point.
Underpinning all of this, is my belief that music is a powerful tool for communication and most of all, it should be fun!
